Make Iphone Apps dont worry about programming

iphone3g thinking
If you have an idea for a new Iphone app but worried about the programming side .
Don't worry anymore, just think of a killer app idea and go to IphoneAppsQoutes.com and get a free quote from up to 3 iPhone development companies, and from there you’ll be able to pick which one you like and make that killer app for iphones.
This is a very goood idea because now can make your own custom app for yourself. No idea regarding the quotes or how much they are charging and how can we trust the company like if you give your idea and then can't afford to make one but instead your idea is out open.

iPhone 3.0 Jailbroken

iphone 3.0 jailbroken
3.0 is already jailbroken, so say the Dev Team on a recent blog post.

And for those wondering, yes the 3.0 OS is jailbreakable on all devices. It’s just those using 3G yellowsn0w that have to show some restraint and wait for PwnageTool to create a custom IPSW that avoids the baseband update.

Will keep you guys updated when a version of PwnageTool which works with 3.0 is out.

Cydia's Appstore for Iphone 3g

Cydia, a software installer for jailbroken iPhones and iPods touch, today opened their version of the App Store to allow the more underground developers apps.Their will be more apps specially the ones which are rejected from apple's app store .
Cydia's founder, 27-year-old Californian grad student Jay Freeman, will apparently charge about the same commission as Apple does to developers wanting to list their apps in the new Cydia Applications.
Is it good or bad ?

Iphone 3g launched in U.A.E by etisalat

On 21st feb etisalat launched iphone 3g with expensive and confusing data plan it came after a very long time and almost all the Apple fans who has already purchased unlocked iphones in dubai (as they cannot resist).

the plan has no unlimited usage unlike blackberry.<-- that's not good Iphone 3g 8bg for 2646 dhs Iphone 3g 16gb for 3090 dhs
Check out the Data plans etisalat iphone 4g data planProvided by etisalat
Saudi received a very nice response about 25000 iphone 3g subscribers in few hours of launch I think this is due to saudi started booking online well before the launch date and etisalat over here rushed everything up, I think etisalat won't get that kind of response because everyone knows that dubai was flooded with unlocked iphones since a week later after it launched in (iphone 2g) in U.S.
There is a dealer i know who is selling unlocked iphones and he nearly sold 5200 pieces in dubai and a guy who used to unlock Iphone 2g has unlocked nearly 1500-1700 iphones till date and even before the etisalat's launch every small shops in malls and souq started selling iphones and now the shops who used to sell iphone 3g in low price as compared to etisalat even they have increased their prices but many apps installed.
this is really funny
Regarding the Arabic support it will be sooon approx 2-3 months.

Now talibans started using Iphones

taliban iphone(Photo via Al Jazeera English)

I was suprised when i was this, Mullah Zaeef the Taliban's former ambassador to Pakistan says he's addicted to Iphone when interviewed by Al Jazeera correspondent Hamish McDonald during a visit in Kabul.

I asked Zaeef about his gadget. His response was pretty much the same as everyone who owns an iPhone.

"I'm addicted," he said, "the internet is great on this, very fast."

He proceeded to show myself and our film crew his favourite websites. I half expected him to log on and show us 'Taliban Twitter'.

Years before Taliban had restricted to use any new modern techies even tv's in aghanistan.

So what rules can be changed a bit when it comes to Apple, Soon you will find Apps for talibans (1000 ways to hide in mountains ) or talibook. Apple has a new market now wonder when ATRA (Afghan telecom) signs a deal with Apple maybe 2040 ?. A proud switcher from Motorola 1000 'Autotelefon'.

iphone bluetooth file transfer now possible

iBluetooth team announced that it had succeeded in allowing the iPhone to transfer files over Bluetooth. This technology, which has not yet been released, will let jailbroken iPhone users leverage Bluetooth to move files via OBEX, the object exchange protocol. They're working on an iPhone Bluetooth API to allow simple phone-to-phone communications and peripheral add-ons. The development API should allow iPhone applications to network with each other, providing a basis for multi-phone gaming and information exchange such as vCard distribution. The peripheral support will allow iPhones to pair with Bluetooth devices, such as keyboards, to allow wireless connectivity and communication with these peripherals. The iPhone application will be making its way onto the usual jailbroken app distribution systems (Cydia, installer) but right now its in limited release to people who have donated to the project.
The video demonstrates file transfer between an iPhone and a Mac, and between an iPhone and a Sony Ericsson handset.

Apple Patent filing to Adjust iPhone Volume automatically.

apple patent filing
The US Patent Office published an Apple patent filing that reveals the company having developed a new system to auto adjust sound volumes. As we know ringtones have to be adjusted everytime depending upon noisier or quieter environments. Apple has come up with a system that uses the sound sensor to determine an ambient sound level for the environment in the proximity of the device. The system then adjusts a volume setting for the device adaptively based on the determined ambient sound level. Apple suggests that a sound sensor like a mic can be used to determine the ambient noise level on startup or over time and change the base volume to be audible based on nearby conditions. Credited to Peter Mahowald

The company already uses ambient sensors to detect light for the displays on the iPhone, iPod touch and most Macs and also to illuminate MacBook keyboards.

Stolen iphone found through Mobile Me

A thief who stole an iPhone was caught after contacts he added to the device were synced to the owner’s MobileMe account.

TUAW reader Rob recounts that his iPhone was pinched while he was at the dry cleaners. But the thief failed to wipe the device, using it as it was to take advantage of Rob’s contract.

Meanwhile Rob purchased a new phone, only to find that strange new contacts began appearing in the Address Book. It transpired that the thief was adding these to the stolen iPhone, apparently unaware that they would be synced to Rob’s MobileMe account.

“It didn't take long for me to realise that MobileMe was leading me right to the thief!,” Rob told TUAW, which picks up the story.

“Rob made quick work of wrangling a name and phone number from the provided contacts, supplying the police with everything they needed to get Rob his phone back. By the end of the night, he had his original iPhone in his possession,” says the website’s Brett Tepstra.

Rob is currently auctioning the restored phone on Ebay.

Buy and Activate an iPhone 3G At Home . wow

According to Boy Genius and Gadgetell, AT&T is now finally offering home activation for the iPhone 3G. Before, it was necessary to go into an Apple or AT&T store for activation, but no more.

That means that Xmas iPhone receipts will be much more pleasant. Interestingly, home activation only appears to be working if you order from AT&T's website—as of this writing, Apple's site is still directing you to the stores for purchase.
