iPhone 3.0 Beta 2 Now Available

iphone 3.0 beta 2
Apple has just released IphoneOS 3.0 beta 2 to developers from Apple's iPhone dev page. Developers can grab iPhone OS 3.0 beta 2 right now.As you know IPhone 3.0 introduced lots of new functionality and over 1,000 new API for developers. Many have upgraded to Iphone 3.0 but complaint regarding sluggish keyboard in some Apps , I think that will be fixed and even there is a new Store area in the Settings but it is blank .
Just upgrade it to 3.0 2 before downgrading back to 2.2.1.

Make Iphone Apps dont worry about programming

iphone3g thinking
If you have an idea for a new Iphone app but worried about the programming side .
Don't worry anymore, just think of a killer app idea and go to IphoneAppsQoutes.com and get a free quote from up to 3 iPhone development companies, and from there you’ll be able to pick which one you like and make that killer app for iphones.
This is a very goood idea because now can make your own custom app for yourself. No idea regarding the quotes or how much they are charging and how can we trust the company like if you give your idea and then can't afford to make one but instead your idea is out open.

Cydia's Appstore for Iphone 3g

Cydia, a software installer for jailbroken iPhones and iPods touch, today opened their version of the App Store to allow the more underground developers apps.Their will be more apps specially the ones which are rejected from apple's app store .
Cydia's founder, 27-year-old Californian grad student Jay Freeman, will apparently charge about the same commission as Apple does to developers wanting to list their apps in the new Cydia Applications.
Is it good or bad ?

Now talibans started using Iphones

taliban iphone(Photo via Al Jazeera English)

I was suprised when i was this, Mullah Zaeef the Taliban's former ambassador to Pakistan says he's addicted to Iphone when interviewed by Al Jazeera correspondent Hamish McDonald during a visit in Kabul.

I asked Zaeef about his gadget. His response was pretty much the same as everyone who owns an iPhone.

"I'm addicted," he said, "the internet is great on this, very fast."

He proceeded to show myself and our film crew his favourite websites. I half expected him to log on and show us 'Taliban Twitter'.

Years before Taliban had restricted to use any new modern techies even tv's in aghanistan.

So what rules can be changed a bit when it comes to Apple, Soon you will find Apps for talibans (1000 ways to hide in mountains ) or talibook. Apple has a new market now wonder when ATRA (Afghan telecom) signs a deal with Apple maybe 2040 ?. A proud switcher from Motorola 1000 'Autotelefon'.

iphone bluetooth file transfer now possible

iBluetooth team announced that it had succeeded in allowing the iPhone to transfer files over Bluetooth. This technology, which has not yet been released, will let jailbroken iPhone users leverage Bluetooth to move files via OBEX, the object exchange protocol. They're working on an iPhone Bluetooth API to allow simple phone-to-phone communications and peripheral add-ons. The development API should allow iPhone applications to network with each other, providing a basis for multi-phone gaming and information exchange such as vCard distribution. The peripheral support will allow iPhones to pair with Bluetooth devices, such as keyboards, to allow wireless connectivity and communication with these peripherals. The iPhone application will be making its way onto the usual jailbroken app distribution systems (Cydia, installer) but right now its in limited release to people who have donated to the project.
The video demonstrates file transfer between an iPhone and a Mac, and between an iPhone and a Sony Ericsson handset.

iPhone Poster Celebrates 10,000 Apps in the App Store

iPhone fanatics and software coders alike are gung-ho about Apple hitting a milestone of 10,000 applications now available through its App Store.

The photo on the right uses exactly 10,000 application icons to compose the image of an iPhone. Pretty neat, and it's in 4,674-by-7,011-pixel resolution on Flickr, so the few of you with wide-format printers can print a poster to show off your iPhone pride (or print a bunch of these and sell them on eBay).

Tap Tap Tap developers John Casasanta and Phill Ryu designed the poster. MacRumors and AppShopper provided the icons.

Apple's App Store exceeded 10,000 applications last week -- a significant achievement, seeing as the store launched in July with about 500 apps available. 148Apps, a site that reviews and tracks new iPhone apps, announced the number and made a tribute page displaying miniature icons of each of the 10,215 apps available.
