Trine in Spring 2009 on the PlayStation Network and PC.

Check it out, due in Spring 2009 on the PlayStation Network and the PC.
Trine™ is a fantasy action game where the player can create and use physics-based objects to beat hazardous puzzles and threatening enemies. Set in a world of great castles and strange machinery, three heroes are bound to a mysterious device called the Trine in a quest to save the kingdom from evil…

The gameplay is based on fully interactive physics - each character’s different ability helps the player battle an army of un-dead and defeat hazardous contraptions. The player can at any time freely choose whoever is best suited for the upcoming challenge or puzzle: The Wizard is able to summon objects to help solve puzzles and create new ways to overcome obstacles, the Thief uses her agility and dead-on accuracy to swiftly surprise the monsters, and the Warrior unleashes mayhem and physical destruction wherever he goes.

Portable Xbox 360 is only portable compared to the original

Ben Heck, probably the best modder of video game hardware anywhere. The guy just does not stop taking bulky consoles and turning them into slightly less bulky portable consoles. His latest creation? A new Xbox 360 Portable.

Essentially, it's a gigantic Xbox laptop, with a big screen that folds down to close it and allow you to tote it around. Thanks to the new NXE software on the Xbox, you can rip games right to the hard drive, making it much easier to play games on the go without them skipping.

PS3, Wii users get Psyclone TouchCharge pads, too

Psyclone's WildCharger-based TouchCharge kit for the Xbox 360 a few weeks ago but, in case you missed it, the company is also offering similar kits for the PlayStation 3 and Wii. At $49.99 the PS3 version is actually the cheapest of the lot, due to the fact that it's able to use the controller's own rechargeable battery, while the $59.99 Wii version and $69.99 Xbox 360 version each include some rechargeable batteries of their own courtesy of Psyclone. The charging pads themselves are, of course, interchangeable, and you can even charge more than one device on a single pad, although finding the necessary controller adapters separately seems to be another matter.

Tom Clancys End of war game features robust voice command system

Ubisoft and Tom Clancy have given us some awesome game titles so far, now they have come out with a new game called End of War. The game will feature the usual point and shoot genre of games with a more robust multiplayer feature. Players can simply control their squad by voice commands; this will give any team the upper hand in any assault. It will be offered on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 consoles. The title is set on the battlefield of a future World War 3. So far, Ubisoft has not revealed much on the control system other than the claim that you can control the squad at the speed of thought.

Microsoft sues DHL over Xbox train derailment

You know who Microsoft hates? No, not Apple. It really hates DHL. Apparently, the delivery service has hit the folks in Redmond where it hurts: in the Xbox. It seems that 21,600 consoles were totally messed over by "impact damage, wetting, pilfering and shortage" when one of the company's freight trains derailed en route to Long Beach, California. The big M claims that DHL refuses to compensate for the lost goods, and has filed a complaint at a US District Court in Seattle, calling for $2 million in damages and stating that the shipper "negligently breached its duties as a common carrier, handler, bailee, warehouseman, agent, or in other capabilities." Harsh words, but really, who's to blame for this mess? Next time we suggest going with G.O.D.

Rumor Says Microsoft Contracting Toshiba Venture For Xbox 360 Blu-Ray Drive

Despite Microsoft denying any plans to develop a Blu-Ray drive for the Xbox 360 at least a million times now, rumors are surfacing that the company's already made one and just needs to decide on a release date. If X-bit Labs is to be believed, a joint-venture between Toshiba and Samsung has been contracted to manufacture external Blu-ray disc drives for Microsoft's game console. According to their market sources, the company is aiming at a $100 to $150 price point in order to compete with the PlayStation 3
