Now talibans started using Iphones

taliban iphone(Photo via Al Jazeera English)

I was suprised when i was this, Mullah Zaeef the Taliban's former ambassador to Pakistan says he's addicted to Iphone when interviewed by Al Jazeera correspondent Hamish McDonald during a visit in Kabul.

I asked Zaeef about his gadget. His response was pretty much the same as everyone who owns an iPhone.

"I'm addicted," he said, "the internet is great on this, very fast."

He proceeded to show myself and our film crew his favourite websites. I half expected him to log on and show us 'Taliban Twitter'.

Years before Taliban had restricted to use any new modern techies even tv's in aghanistan.

So what rules can be changed a bit when it comes to Apple, Soon you will find Apps for talibans (1000 ways to hide in mountains ) or talibook. Apple has a new market now wonder when ATRA (Afghan telecom) signs a deal with Apple maybe 2040 ?. A proud switcher from Motorola 1000 'Autotelefon'.
