The Rinspeed iChange concept which will be on display at the Geneva Motor Show is the world's first adaptive car-body based on passenger count with a magical rear end and can be controlled with an iPhone (except for the driving parts).
The iPhone has been docked on the dash of the car which apparently can be used to control the "next-gen" Harman/Kardon "infotainment system" with GPS navigation with realistic 3D view and can even handle the air conditioning in the car and even there's no slot for the key. So the iPhone is used to turn on the car.
The system uses an innovative Intel processor technology that guarantees
minimized power consumption. The same is for the Harman/Kardon high-efficiency audio system.
This revolutionary technology meets highest demands on sound quality, weighs much less than
ordinary systems and at the same time uses only a fraction of energy.
The route guidance of the navigation system is also especially eco-friendly: The system calculates the most energy-saving route and displays the directions in realistic 3D view. Read more
